In late November 2014 the band members, Christian Smedström, Kristoffer Ragnstam and Krister Selander from the band Christian & The 2120's packed their gear and headed to Berlin to start record the new album.
"We got an opportunity to record there, and this has been a longtime dream that were about to come true" says the main man Christian Smedström. "Experiences and making dreams come true have characterized the album all the way."

Kristoffer Ragnstam, who now have produced 3 full lengths for Christian & the 2120's since the start 2008, also play the drums together with bass player Krister Selander.
"The groove and more important, the vibe we have together are like nothing but sheer magic. I'm not the easiest to follow when we play but these two plays like no others." says Christian.

The first songs were recorded at Paul Lincke Studios with Harrison Silverfox as the engineer during two intense days of recordings that resulted in six songs, of which the first single -Have Mercy- are taken from these Berlin Sessions. The B-side include a new and very special version of -Gone to Hell-. It's a very limited edition 7" single, only 75 pieces are made. The release of the single will be saturday october 24th 2015 at Rock Steady Records, Berlin Germany. It’s specifically released for the Record Store Week between october 19th to 24th.

In january 2015 the boys headed to Los Angeles California to record the second and final part of the album "MOMENTS".
"I lived in LA 20 years ago, when i studied at MI (Musicians Institute) in Hollywood" says Christian. "I was never comfortable and the stay was terminated earlier than anticipated. But when I came back this time and started this recording, it was a whole different vibe and wonderful experience."

In Burbank, in Doug Messenger's (Van Morrison among others) studio Hard Drive Studios, together with engineer James Salter (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Raveonettes among others) six more songs were recorded on the very same reel to reel machine that Fleetwood Mac used to track "Rumours".

"James had booked a sessions player to join the band the last day of the recordings to add upright piano and organ. During the recording he felt like the one he booked at first wasn't the right choice. So he took a gamble and mr John Thomas from Captain Beefheart's Magic Band walk in and cuts all six tracks almost exactly as I'v heard in my head, I was totally in awe! I'm a big fan." says Christian.

The Berlin Sessions were mixed at Studio Scola, Gothenburg Sweden by Kristoffer Ragnstam. The Los Angeles Sessions will be mixed in in November in Atlanta, USA by Kristoffer Ragnstam and James Salter. The master is made at Svenska Grammofonstudion, Gothenburg Sweden by Hans Olsson Brookes.

Both Berlin and LA session will be released as a double LP called "MOMENTS" during spring/summer of 2016.
"The title are a celebration to follow your dreams and eventually those dreams come true!" says Christian.

The band has also been filmed during all these recordings and will be released at Youtube and other social media during the following year.
